A dynamic forum focused on the experience of childhood and the process of learning

The Loose Parts Laboratory is a community resource of creative materials open to everyone!

Loose parts are everyday objects that can be manipulated and transformed through self-guided play. We believe that these materials can enhance and enrich learning, creative expression, problem solving skills, and well being.

Materials are gathered and donated by residents and local businesses.

Follow along on Facebook for the most up-to-date information.

LPL is open every Thursday, 4:30 - 7:30 pm or by appointment.
New materials are coming in weekly.
