A dynamic forum focused on the experience of childhood and the process of learning

Monthly Gatherings

The monthly gatherings take many forms at different sites around the Twin Cities: early childhood centers, schools, nature centers, libraries or other venues. Participants tour the environments; explore materials (such as clay, collage, 3-D sculpture); discuss topics, and/or collaborate on documentation of children’s work. The sessions are three hours long and are typically held on a weekday evening or a Saturday morning.  Cost varies by gathering.

See “Seeing Children” for a history of the collaborative research that has developed from the monthly gatherings.

These monthly gatherings are listed on our Events page.
