This event is perfect for educators, parents and anyone curious about the Reggio Emilia approach, the creative process and how they inspire children and educators.

See how we celebrate the voices and ideas of our children while learning innovative strategies to support exploration and growth.

A Showcase of Children’s Artwork: See a range of projects that reflect children’s ideas and interests. Every classroom, infants to Pre-K, are displayed in a gallery-like setting. Learn how we use an emergent curriculum to follow threads of curiosity – from initial interest to research and discovery – creating a continuous cycle of exploration and learning.

A Tour of Our Art Studio: Explore and see how we store and arrange materials to make them accessible and inviting for children and how we facilitate guided open studio time allowing children to choose, experiment and work at their own pace.

A Conversation with Studio Art Teacher, Rachel Dunn, and Executive Director, Jennifer Bowron: Learn how our art teacher, Rachel, collaborates with each classroom to dive deeper into children’s interests, fostering meaningful learning experiences.

Hands-On Art Explorations: Engage in interactive opportunities to experience the power of process art for yourself. Discover simple, effective ways to bring open-ended art experiences to your classroom, even without a dedicated art teacher.

Incorporating Process Art in Any Setting: Gain practical ideas and strategies for integrating process art into your daily routines, helping children express themselves creatively while developing problem-solving skills, confidence and joy in learning. Learn how to use easily accessible materials and adapt your existing environment to invite exploration, experimentation and wonder.
