MIDWEST DELEGATION STUDY TOUR TO REGGIO
Margie Cooper, NAREA board member and Director of Inspired Practices organized and acquired funding for a Georgia & South Carolina Delegation of classroom teachers, educators and policy makers to have their own Study Tour in Reggio Emilia, Italy. 80 educators went to Reggio this spring for a week of study together.
We know if we plan and dream together that it can happen here in Minnesota. Imagine the impact we could make on the present and future education of children in Minnesota, North Dakota, South Dakota, Wisconsin and Iowa.
2003-04 - SEEING CHILDREN I - a collection of projects from 12 Minnesota school - exhibit at MN Children’s Museum & 100 Languages Summer Conference at Metro State
2005-06 - SEEING CHILDREN II - the Network schools explored “Movement” and exhibited the projects at the MN Kindergarten Conference in Mankato
2007-08 - SEEING CHILDREN III - The research of the educators will center around nature and children. Displays of the documentation will be shown at the Minnesota Family Child Care Association conference in Brainerd, MN.
