• Our community exhibit of Minnesota Children's project
opens in
April 24 - 31, 2004 the Minnesota Children's
Museum
Exhibit of Minnesota children's creative projects exploring
aspects
of their own communities.Children from local and regional
preschools, Kindergartens,
1st and 2nd grades share their experiences in their communities
using the
languages of the arts. Special focus is the Children's view
of the Mississippi River,
expressed in dance, story, painting and a 3-dimensional model
of the city that
traces the path of the river thought the city of Saint Paul,
Interactive elements
allow young visitors to explore their own creativity while
gallery programs at the
Museum involve parents and children in contributing to the
community exhibit.
