If you've considered poetry to be a form of expression that is beyond the reach of young children, then please join us for an enlightening conversation with our poet-in-residence, Julia Klatt Singer, who will describe how young children can discover the joy of playing with words and, through the process, perceive themselves as poets. Julia has “watched three year olds with very limited language flourish into wordy poets” and has “witnessed young children finding their voice. And in finding their voice, they find too, the power of words, their words.”

Note: Light breakfast served

Facilitated by: Staff of the Grace Neighborhood Nursery School
and special visitor, poet Julia Klatt Singer
