The Reggio-Inspired Network of Minnesota invites everyone interested to participate in upcoming 2010 Monthly Gatherings and Materials Explorations. For all the details download the pdf “Reggio-Inspired flyer” Reggio-Inspired Flyer 1209 (128)
Note: The January and April events will involve collaborating over documentation, particularly around the research topic, “Play”. Participants are encouraged to bring notes, photos, transcripts and/or children’s work to share and discuss. Four overarching questions frame this year’s “Seeing Children” study:
1. How do we interpret and communicate work and play in our individual context, environment and community?
2. How can we make visible our observations and interpretations to show the construction of knowledge in adults and children?
3. How can we develop questions that will inform this research?
4. How can we validate the construction of knowledge through play?
